Impressive, very impressive! I like the focus on aesthetics as you noted with the addition of customized canvas for your publications to get an idea of how it might look on different surfaces when the final out put is on similar surface in nature or just provide a pleasant experience for the person working in Word 2008.
Could you give us a little bit more on the specifics of templates, does it rival Pages '08 in amount or about the same? Sorry, had to ask. But based on that sample slide you showed, the quality is indeed superb.
As for compatibility, you call this Publisher view. Is there any compatibility with Microsoft Office Publisher publications? A friend of mine received a Office Publisher publication and it would not import in Word 2004, will there be support for such files in Word 2008 without using any cash advance?
