Once I received an Excel attachment showing a beatiful picture of a village created by coloring the square shaped cells. It would have taken a lot of time to complete the job. It then strike into my mind that a similar Excel Art can also be created by an Application which can take a picture as its source. Since GIF and JPG have complex file formats due to the Compression algorithms used, I thought an Uncompressed 24 Bit BMP file would be the best choice... more at
