Done purely in PowerPoint.

AI-Plushie ~ Artificially Intelligent Plushie
The AI-Plushies Series is the mainstream productline of Toy Republic, Inc. It's standard design supports 3GB of computer data storage, audio input/output commands, and a customizable alarmclock. All hardware is kept inside the shock-resistant skeletal framework, padded with polyester cotton, and covered in water-proof cloth skinning to complete the impression of a huggable plushie. Accessories are sold separately for reasonably low prices as each plushie itself is approximately available in all leading toy outlets for only $180.

Model Type 1: AI-NaLa ~ Artificial Intelligence Natural Language

Unique Functions:
~Natural Language Processing
~A.I. Speech Generation
~Programmable Audio Commands
~Call, Text, Phonebook, & Voicemail

The AI-NaLa model has built-in natural language processors similar to that of typical chatbots. Add to that the power of converting text to voice and vice versa, and you get a plushie with the actual capability to carry on a conversation with its user. This model can also function as a cellphone with call and text capabilities, and a voicemailbox that can be stored in the standard 3GB memory.

Model Type 2: AI-MoCa ~ Artificial Intelligence Motion Capture

Unique Functions:
~Digital Camcorder
~A.I. Facial Recognition
~Programmable Visual Commands
~Internet Roaming

The AI-MoCa model sports its own digital video recording and image capturing functions, all of which can be stored within its 3GB memory. A facial recognition feature also allows the model to instantly recognize the face of its owner. The model is also equipped with a global Internet router that can be plugged via the Universal Serial Bus Drive of any computer to obtain Internet access on that computer.

Alright, alright, I'm totally pulling your leg. Neither the Ai-Plushies Series nor Toy Republic, Inc. exist. Truth is, this was for an Accounting project and I was in charge of the technical aspects of a make-believe product line. Remarkably, the costs really did only amount to around $160.

If you'll notice, I was also trying something new with the eyes. Boy, if you think those are hard in Photoshop, think again. PPT like no other! W00t!

Can you tell us what kind of process you walk trough before ending in these nice illustrations? Which steps are followed before ending into something similar to this kind of amazing vector art? Are you making a plan in your head and then start to copy these gradients over and over again? Do you have some trickery by using some 3th party software? Anyway, geat respect for your work.

PowerPoint Art Process

There was no plan initially. I studied how some Photoshop artists did the glow in anime-eyes and read their tutorials. I figured there was a way to imitate it on PowerPoint, and by then, I had already mastered the unique multi-gradient technique that I've used so often. It was just a matter of copying, arranging and resizing them to make them look the way they do now. The rest of it was fairly easy making use of curves and semi-circle autoshapes. And I assure you, there are no third-party softwares that come close to the simplicity of the multi-gradients.
